Color: It is pale in color with scattered dark chromatophores on the carapace. On each of the free thoracic and abdominal somites there is a broad transverse dark band separating narrow anterior and still narrower posterior borders.

Telson with 2 pairs of fixed marginal teeth; first and third intermediate denticles larger than second and forth.
