Color: Outer surface of the shell is cream-coloured, with brownish markings.

Shell is smaller, thick and solid, the whorl, are more strongly noduled and there are fine raised striae throughout the surface; the edge of the outer lip is straight; is produced into seven finger-like processes, of which the terminal ones are long while the lateral ones are short and more strongly curved; the grooves in these processes are almost completely closed, and indicated only by narrow median slits on their inner surfaces; the processes are conspicuously noduled. The columella and interior of aperture are strongly transversely ridged.
