Description
Size: Upto 30 mm length

Tubes very hard, made of quartz grains firmly cemented together, with an inner diameter of about 3 mm. Outer paleae end in a long, slender, sharp, smooth spines. Middle spines short, smooth, spoon-like. Inner paleae hollow, elongated, smooth. Inner paleae hollow, elongated, smooth or denticulate along the edge.
