Color: White.

Shell thin, transversely elongated, ovate and slightly gaping at anterior and posterior margins; shell inequilateral, the anterior side being shorter than the posterior; hind margin is narrowly rounded; sculpture consists of fine, close-set radial ridges, the interstices between them are narrow, flattened spaces, ribs tend to be flexuous. A few faint, widely spaced concentric growth lines present on the surface; ligament not separated from the nodule; cardinal tooth at left valve bent at narrow angle; the cardinal tooth on the right valve is small; umbo small; pallial sinus very deep, large and rounded; inner surface smooth and glossy.
