Class: Bivalvia

Color: Inner surface of the valves is whitish and tinged with brown; outer surface of left valve orange-red with whitish patches; right valve completely white.

Shell moderately small, triangular ovate, slightly higher than long; surface uniformly traversed by fine, close set, radial grooves; valves bear few widely separated, raised and rounded radial ribs; auricles small and equal in size.
