Size: Length 17.84 mm; height 10.85 mm; thickness 10.50 mm

Color: Shell is pale horny brown, with minute reddish brown streaks.

Shell is small, oblong-ovate, with the anterior margin slightly narrower than the posterior. It is somewhat thin with translucent gloss on the surface; valves are feebly and obtusely angulated; surface very faintly and finely ridged at extreme anterior part and towards the posterior border.

This species has an extremely delicate and characteristic swollen wedge shape.
