Description
Size: Length of carapace 43 mm; breadth of carapace 51 mm

Color: Harsh grey, fingers of the chelipeds pink

The species can be distinguished by the carapace being broader than long, and the front being cut into three nearly equal teeth. The anterio-lateral borders are cut into three teeth. The third pair of legs are hardly shorter than the last, and there is no spine at the far end of the posterior border of the last pair. None of the abdominal segments are fused and the uropods are small but visible externally.
