Color: Yellowish white.

Shell small, spindle-shaped and presence of bold, dark colored spiral bands encircling it on the surface; whorls are scarcely shouldered but the shell bears broadly rounded transpiral ribs which are imperfectly developed; there are very fine, close-set spiral striae transversing the entire surface; aperture narrow, elongate and slightly broader posteriorly its entire margin including the columellar border and the inside or the outer lip being finely denticulated; apical notch large and well defined; anterior canal short and open.
