Description
Size: Length of carapace 16 mm; breadth of carapace 25 mm

Color: during life a beautiful dark pink, with a narrow white lining on the sides, fingers blackish brown, with whitish tips and teeth. The color fades in spirit

Carapace of much the same proportions as Atergatis integerrimus, but with a perfectly smooth dull surface; no indication whatever of regions; the crest of the antero-lateral borders blunt and ending smoothly, without any ridge or tooth, at the lateral epibranchial angle. Front, orbits, external maxillipeds and legs as in Atergatis intergerrimus Fingers fluted, but upper edge of hand rounded, not crested.
