Size: Length 2.5 mm.

Cephalothorax anteriorly flat, with wide rostral base, thoracic somites 2-4 gradually narrowing, thorax imperceptibly merging into the abdomen, sides of genital segment rounded. Spines on the outer border of exopod of legs 2-4 with 3-6 strong spines along their outer edge, inner edge smooth.

This copepod affects the branchial cavity of the following fishes: Lichia glauca, Centriscus scutatus, Lichia amia, Sphyraena vulgaris, Lichia vadigo and Tylosurus leiurus.
