Size: Length 1.3 mm.

Carapace with a short projecting rostral plate, broader than long. Trunk somites 2-3 as broad as carapace, fourth abruptly narrowed, fifth somite small, genital segment swollen, abdomen 3-segmented and spiny. Distal segment of maxilla 2 proximally produced. Claw of maxilliped comparatively short, curved like an ā€˜Sā€™, with very small accessory process. Distal segment of maxilla 2 produced proximally backwards. Legs with prominently spiny surface, third endopod segment of leg 4 small, with a very long apical seta.

Parasitic on Rastrelliger kanagurta (fish) in the branchial cavity.
