Size: Length 40-120 mm. by 2mm.

Color: Pink, yellow or grey-green.

Body long and slender. Prostomium lanceolate, flattened, often with a longitudinal median groove. Two dark spots at the base. Peristomium with ventral longitudinal folds. Feet with an anterior rounded lobe and a posterior long, blunt, conical one. Dorsal cirrus reduced to a mere knod with five enclosed acicula. Capillary setae with two wings set at an angle. A very large blunt acicular bristle. Acicula with a filiform protruding tip.
Proboscidal armature : Max. I, strongly falcate, no teeth at base; Max. II, 4-5 teeth ; Max. Ill and IV with single tooth ; Max. V, absent. Lower jaw present. Carriers of maxillae long. Parapodia with an anterior rounded lobe and a posterio long, blunt conical lobe.
