Size: 57.5-88 mm TL (male), 55-76 mm TL (female); carapace length: 16 mm (male), 16-22 mm (female).

Rostrum rather short and armed with 7-8 teeth on upper border, anterior 3 teeth on the rostrum proper. Pterygostomian spine absent. Cervical groove not interrupted by the post-rostral carina. Antennal peduncle almost reaching apex of antennal scale. Third maxillipeds overreach the distal ends of the antennal scale by the length of the dactylus. The fifth pereiopod reaches beyond the tip of the antennal scale by about 1/3 of the length of the propodus and dactylus.
